GISBORNE was too strong for Strathfieldsaye in Saturday’s third round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo FNL season.

The Tarryn Rymer-coached Gisborne won 45-22 on its court at Melbourne North Truck Centre Oval in Gardiner Reserve.

Consecutive wins have put the Bulldogs on the fifth rung after they started the season with a loss at home to reigning premier, Kangaroo Flat.

A Storm line-up coached by Jess Mangan will face Castlemaine at Triple M Park on May 2 to complete the split fourth round.

The Roos’ streak kept rolling on Saturday in a 70-36 win on Eaglehawk’s court at C & M Oval in Canterbury Park.

The Jayden Cowling-coached Kangaroos won 70-36 against the Janelle Hobbs-coached Two Blues.

Broadford took on Golden Square on the Kangaroos’ court at Harley Hammond Reserve.

The Jaimie Hooper-coached Broadford worked hard to pour in 35 goals.

At the final siren the Teigan Redwood-coached Golden Square led 72-35.

Details from the Castlemaine and Sandhurst match at The Railway Hotel Oval in Castlemaine’s Camp Reserve were not supplied.

Sandhurst had the bye.

Round four will be completed on May 2 at Strathfieldsaye’s Triple M Park, Kangaroo Flat’s Dower Park, and Queen Elizabeth Oval in Bendigo.

Action for A-grade will start at 2.30pm.

It’s the clash of two mobs of Kangaroos as Kangaroo Flat hosts Broadford at Dower Park.

Strathfieldsaye Storm fronts Castlemaine at Triple M Park in Tannery Lane.

Sandhurst takes on Golden Square at Queen Elizabeth Oval.

Gisborne has the bye.
