Our Guzman y Gomez senior player of the week for Week 1 of Round 5 is LACHLAN WRIGHT from Sandhurst Football Netball Club 
Lachlan was pivotal to the Dragons commanding victory over South Bendigo putting together an intercept marking clinic, pulling down 9 marks from opposition kicks. Wright leads the league with 26 intercept marks, more than DOUBLE anyone else 
Lachlan compliments his great marking with superb and damaging ball use racking up 23 disposals going at 83% efficiency which includes 6 rebound 50's against the Bloods
