The Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Steph Freemantle as Head Coach of the BFNL 15 & Under Representative Netball Team for the 2027 season.
Freemantle returns to the role following a strong 2026, where she played an important role in establishing the BFNL’s 15 & Under representative program in it’s inaugural year.
Her experience, knowledge and commitment to developing young netballers made her a natural choice to continue leading the program.
Joining Steph will be Castlemaine’s Nikkea-Lee Hogan who partnered with Steph as an Assistant Coach in 2026.
BFNL Manager Tom King said the League was delighted to have Freemantle back at the helm.
“Steph did an outstanding job in establishing our 15 & Under program in its first year, and we’re really pleased to have her continue in the role for 2027,” King said.
“Her focus on player development and creating a positive representative experience for our young athletes aligns strongly with what we want the BFNL representative program to be about.”
The BFNL looks forward to working with Steph and Nikkea-Lee as the 15 & Under representative program embarks on it’s second year in 2027.
