The Kangaroo Flat FNC A Grade Netball Team will be competing in Netball Victoria's League Challenge this weekend after the club qualified by winning the BFNL A Grade premiership in 2016.

Head Coach Jannelle Hobbs has been keenly training her club, not just to get ready for the first round of the home and away season, but to also challenge for league supremacy next weekend in the League Challenge.

Hobbs has ensured that all players whom played in last year’s BFNL grand final are match fit and able to take part next weekend.  The playing list includes club veterans Karly Elvey and Alicia Gladman, League Rising Star 2016 Ruby Barkmeyer, youngsters Milly Wicks and Chelsea Sartori, and premiership players Jamie Lee Clohesy and Zoe Davies.   Davies has decided season 2017 will see her don the uniform of another club, but she has signed up for this challenge with the Flat.  Other players whom will form part of the Flat squad are 17 & Under League joint B&F, Danielle Markwell, as well as Adrienne Murphy and club newcomer, Julia Clarke.  More members may yet be added to the squad
